OK, so the guy who was jerking my chain up at the McDonald's doesn't seem to be around. I'm assuming that he's either sick, on vacation, or got fired/suspended for something totally unrelated to me whatsoever. Slightly related note - all the other workers even the MANAGERS see me coming in and order nothing, heck they're even friendly about it, too. I'm sure they understand I wouldn't be up there if I had a home connection to do what I do while online. I guess until I find some alternative home connection, I'm there to stay.

Anyway, moving on to the topic:

Things I like about being able to draw

I have something to do (when I motivated to draw that is)

Allows me to express myself

limitless possiblities (I can pretty much draw whatever I want to)

Improving my "style" as time goes by

Finding people who like your work and encourage you to continue further

Things I hate/dislike about being able to draw

"Ooh, you're a good drawer!" WRONG! I am NOT a piece of furniture you put clothes in...

"Ooh, you draw really good! I can barely draw stick figures!"

"Your work is good, but mine is better"/"Your characters are hot, but mine are hotter!"/"My (insert drawing here) looks better than that!"/"My (insert drawings/characters here) look way better than yours!"

"Can you draw me?" NO! I don't draw actual people, when I do, it's because I feel like it, and it's in a "cartoony" style, not realism if that's what they're expecting.

"Can you draw (insert well-known character -usually Disney or Looney Tunes related- here)" NO! I don't draw those characters so DON'T ASK ME THAT!!! Here's the reason why...

Can only be "well-known" or "popular" by drawing copyrighted characters. Next reason...

Draw outside of your fandom = no one really gives a shit (crossovers between OCs and existing characters hardly count because people only view it for the "fan art aspect" of it, and probably don't know, care, or want to know your character) next reason...

Draw virtually nothing BUT fan art, people just assume you're "some fan artist" despite having original works as well (being called this isn't bad -I guess- if all you like drawing is fan art). Next reason

(Virtually) No one gives a shit about your original characters. Next Reason...

Arguably one of your crappiest fan drawings gets highly overpraised, despite your making an original drawing with considerably better detail. Reasons for not drawing fan art over... Resuming list

People only flock to you when you're a "great artist" in their eyes. When someone else comes along with a "better style", they flock to that person and forget about you. (I had this happen to me in high school)

Working on a team project with someone that involves the two of you drawing something, your part of the project -completed or not- is ignored because your style doesn't quite measure up to your partner's. (I had this happen in high school as well)

Having a friend -or so-called friend- in the same place as you who can draw better than you and seems to hog all the attention, not even bothering to say something like "Hey, my friend's over there, why don't you see some of his/her work? You might like it". (I had this happen in high school as well)

Being told by a stranger/friend/whoever that you're "almost" as good as somebody they know.

Being told your a "shitty artist" by someone who can't even draw for shit themselves.

Being told your work is mediocre at best because a certain "well-known, but crappy" style is your inspiration, and yet the person who tells you this ALSO DRAWS IN THAT STYLE AND IS POPULAR BECAUSE OF IT! -hypocrite much?-

Being told what to draw and how to draw it (this isn't exactly bad if someone is kindly critiquing you or giving you ideas/suggestions though).

Being told your ideas/creativity/etc. is/are lacking by someone who won't give you any advice or ideas to help you out unless it's subverted in the form of doing nothing but asking questions.

Meeting an artist who hates a particular series you like, yet likes the style and draws in that style, becomes popular among fantards (which usually means they are more popular than you, despite your being a TRUE fan), then has the nerve to be mad that people assume they're a fan of the game/show or that the style the characters are drawn in is how they look all the time, as opposed to the artist drawing them that way because they "like the style", but have a totally different style they're normally drawn in. -hypocrite? Also, false advertisement when you think about it-

Taking a request and completing it only to hear the person who requested moan and bitch at you for not including this detail or that pose, etc.

Likes: I have a number of likes, but first and formost, I like animals and I think no animal is dumb in anyway, though some bugs and insects are generally a pain to deal with in your home and lemmings make me wonder sometimes... Despite my username LoneWolfX220, my favorite animal is actually the rabbit. Either way I like my username and it's actually named after my character named Lone Wolf who is a werewolf, the 220 is a reference to my DOB (February 20th). Another reason I like my username is because it helps me know who the jerkasses are on this site who judge someone based on the fact that "wolf" is in their username, if they dislike such usernames, that's usually how I know to stay away from them. The only real reason why wolves are considered to be overrated when you think about it is because a number of wolf fans saw that it was unfair that wolves are regarded as "the bad guys" in fiction, so they though it would be a good idea to try to spread a good rep about them by making wolf characters and such depicted in a better light, too bad it didn't work out that way, considering how many people are still anti-wolf and label wolf fans as "wolfaboos"...

On another note, I like to draw, obviously, though sometimes I have trouble getting motivated. I like to practice doing different voices, since I hope to be a Voice Actor. I like playing video games, though I don't play that many now. I play Sonic games (not the recent ones though, most of them suck these days sadly), Pokemon games (from R/B/Y to HH/SS), Tekken, Street Fighter, Streets of Rage 3 and the Streets of Rage Remake (fun game, but a bitch to beat in Mania mode lol), I may try my hand at BlazBlue and Mortal Kombat 9 when I get the chance.

I like to try to challenge myself with my drawings, even if those said challenges seem "weird" to some people, but I try not to be too "off-the-wall" with some of my challenges (most of which I may not even post if they seem too weird). I know my style (or alleged lack thereof) is not consider to be "the best" (though I personally believe there's no such thing as "the best style"), I'd like for my works to be viewed for the time and effort I put into them as well as any message my works may have.

I like to make friends, despite my slightly antisocial behavior, but there are times when keeping friends can be an issue, mostly because the people I hang around or chat with view friendship in a different manner than I do it seems, with that being that I will never leave a person behind when they're having a bad day, week, month, or even a bad year, most people from what I've seen however view friendship as being simply talking about common interests and places they've gone to or want to go to, and things like that, which is fine, but it's not a true friendship. It's nice to talk about those things but it's also nice to know that when shit hits the fan, your so-called "friends" won't go running to someone else when the going gets tough or say that they can't help you, nor do they bother to try.

Dislikes: Also, too many to list, but I will I however start with how I dislike one-liner comments on my posts, unreliable people, and liars, especially girls who lie... Disclaimer: I am NOT a misogynist!

I also don't like shallow/superficial people, they usually tend to have unrealisticly high expectations. For the same reason, I don't like people who only like or dislike something just for the style. Not being a fan of someone's work because of a certain style that doesn't exactly "influence" you or make you go "wow" is merely an excuse in my opinion. Sometimes it's better to go outside your comfort zone, perhaps you might find that you're missing out on some great things.

That brings me to another dislike of mine, I highly dislike closed minded people, again, if you accept certain things with an open mind (and probably some lowered expectations), you may actually grow to like some things you would have otherwise overlooked. I don't like hypocrites and double-standards, especially when the latter are about gender, they just aren't right. I hate when people bash others who have seemingly bad lives or are in a bad time or place or shove all the bad things happening to them back in their faces. Everyone's lives are not perfect and every now and then, we all have bad days and want someone to help us through them. I've been down that road and I don't like seeing others go down it either, so I reach out a hand to help if I can and if they are willing to accept it. So to all the people with that stamp about "I'm tired of people telling saying their life sucks", we are not going to get along, that is of course, unless you are doing something to help make their lives better. While I will reach out to those who have "sucky lives", I will point out that I dislike when people act like it's the end of the world over some stupid crap like how they didn't get the latest game console and they're all "Boo-hoo! My life is ruined!".

I definitely dislike fake friends as well as fake watchers here on DA. In the case of the former, I feel that fake friends are the type of people who are with you in the sunshine, but leave you the moment you walk into the shade. That meaning that they only want to be around you when you're in a good mood and presumably want to talk about trivial things, but the moment you feel down, they leave you high and dry. A real friend will NEVER leave your side, on your best AND worst of days, they will ALWAYS be there for you.

In the case of fake watchers, I don't like when people watch me, then disappear afterwards, no faves, comments, or anything to show their alive on their side of the screen. I mean I know the users here have lives outside of DA, but if you're truly one of my watchers PROVE IT TO ME!!! That's exactly why when I get a new message saying -deviant- has added you to their watchlist, I ask them why they watch me. One person here told me she liked my drawings when I asked her, yet their was no evidence of this, this actually applies to A LOT of people who watch me, actually. I don't like attention whores (I can't think of anyone who does), mostly because they more than likely are whining about something trivial (such as not getting an X-Box 360 for Christmas) and what people to feel sorry for them over something so pointless, that and the kind who change a topic to one about them in some way, some attention whores can be arrogant and I also dislike arrogant, narcissistic people. Example "Oh hey, look at me! I'm awesome and you should love me for it! "

I don't like loud people, especially when they have no reason to be. I'm a quiet person who seems to oddly attract loud people withput even trying. If you're the type who dislikes quiet people, you and I are not going to get along well or at all, though that shouldn't be a problem here on DA.

I don't like when conversations are about one topic or when a conversation reverts to the same topic that's always brought up, although in the case of my drawings I feel that I don't have room to talk since I talk about my drawings or what I want to draw next. Even so, there are other topics I bring up, though at times I fear that I might be boring and dull due to my inability to hold an "interesting" conversation (I guess that's one reason why I talk to myself... I'm the only person i know who I don't bore to death everyday >_>)...

I hate coming across artists who are good or popular at what they do, but the reason being because they draw in a style from a series they hate. An example of this was when I chatted with someone -whose name and gender shall remain anonymous- who said they hate Sonic (and presumably the Sonic series as a whole), but they like the style, then they had the nerve to be mad that people assumed that artist was a Sonic fan and that their character(s) is/are part of that fandom when they really aren't (noted by the fact that they said that "This Sonic shit is getting out of hand!", that's their own fault for drawing in that style, imo).

I also dislike when people say or think a style of art is crap, yet they draw in that style as well and are popular because of it. Something about rubs me the wrong way and seems very, very wrong. It's kind of like using people to get what you want (in this case, attention or page views), similar to the "I hate the series, but love the style" argument I just mentioned,

One thing I especially hate is when people assume my characters or series ideas are fan characters or a fan series of some sort, like when one person assumed my Rokkito Usagi characters were Loony Tunes or are Loony Tunes inspired when that really aren't (just because they're anthros, I might add), that same somebody thought my character Anyaa looked like Lola Bunny in apple bottom jeans (note that Anyaa and Lola look NOTHING ALIKE!). Some people probably also disregard my stuff because my Rokkito Usagi characters are slightly Sonic inspired and people these days tend to hate Sonic and/or the style as well as the ridiculous amount of fan characters (most of which being crappy recolors)... Personally, considering that it's not good to assume anything, I would ask the artist if their characters or series are original works or fan creations before I go putting my foot in my mouth by saying something like "Ooooh, that's a cool fan character!" or "I really like your fan series!". That being said, "Think before you speak or act." is a quote that comes to mind regarding that subject...

For those of you who ACTUALLY read all that, I surprised, considering that I feel no one reads what I type, it makes me feel sad when people don't read... I know I tend to go tl;dr a lot, but still...
